Yan's Gourmet is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all our guests, including individuals with disabilities.
We strive to ensure that everyone can enjoy our food, services, and facilities comfortably and safely, in accordance with applicable accessibility laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), California Unruh Civil Rights Act, and relevant state and local regulations

Our Commitment
We are working to make Yan's Gourmet accessible to people with a wide range of hearing, movement, sight, cognitive, and other disabilities. Our ongoing efforts include:
Physical Accessibility at Our Location
• Wheelchair-accessible entrance (no steps or with ramp)
• Accessible parking spaces (where available in our lot or nearby)
• Wide pathways and aisles throughout the dining area
• Accessible tables with adequate knee clearance
• Restrooms compliant with ADA standards (where feasible given building age and layout)
• Staff trained to assist guests with disabilities upon request
Service & Communication Accessibility
• Staff are available to read menus aloud, describe dishes, and answer questions
• We happily accommodate verbal ordering for guests who have difficulty using written menus or digital devices
• We accept and take seriously requests for reasonable modifications to policies, practices, or procedures to accommodate disabilities
• Assistance animals (including service animals) are welcome in all areas of the restaurant open to the public
Online & Digital Accessibility
• If we maintain a website or online ordering platform, we aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines where feasible
• We are continuously improving digital accessibility, including:
• Text alternatives for images
• Sufficient color contrast
• Keyboard navigation support
• Clear and consistent navigation
• Resizable text without loss of functionality
Ongoing Efforts & Feedback
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We are actively reviewing and improving both our physical space and any digital properties. Some aspects of older buildings may present limitations that we continue to address as resources and building constraints allow.
